THE STORY

The film begins in Nice.

In the days leading up to the race, Mathieu prepares for the challenge ahead. Food is organised, equipment is checked, the bike is packed, and time is spent with the people closest to him.

Through conversations with his partner and parents, a broader picture of Mathieu’s life gradually begins to emerge.

As the race unfolds, the film moves beyond the physical challenge and begins to reveal the experiences that have shaped his relationship with fear, uncertainty and gratitude.

Relentless is concerned not only with what Mathieu is doing, but with the perspective and experiences that sit behind it.

AN INDEPENDENT FILM

Relentless was filmed over ten days in and around Nice, France.

The project was produced independently, without the support of a traditional production company.

RELENTLESS

By the time Mathieu reaches the finish line, the race is no longer the central subject of the film.

Instead, it becomes the framework through which a broader portrait of Mathieu and his perspective on life is presented.

Relentless is not simply a film about endurance.

It is a film about perspective.
